A "friend" is no longer about the bond of mutual affection, spiritual support. The new definition of being a "friend" is about becoming a tool for exploitation, a stepping stone for your career path, and only a figure to be added on the Facebook list. Sadly this is how the capitalistic world works.

You receive tons of calls. From each of them, the first you'll hear on the other side of the phone is not a genuine care on how you're doing, but HELP.

A "friend" is being valued by the status. If you can't prove your value, or not meeting the requirements according to others, be prepared to be shot with icy eyes, equivalent to "I don't want to bother to have a word with you."

Interesting scenarios to picture people's behavior:

1. Not bothering to greet you when you have low G.P.A scores (in their minds).
2. You're not the fave of certain professors.
3. You're not working for any famous companies, enterprises.
4. If you're a female, and the guys treat you nice, it's because they want to fuck you.
5. Democracy always works, because "the more the crowd, the stupider it is."
6. There's always a reason why people who haven't contacted you for decades suddenly reach you.

The best way to repel unnecessary "networking" is to keep yourself low profile and let people think you suck.

You'll know who's your best buddy when he/she will attend your funeral and visit your tombstone periodically.

And in some cases, the people you meet online and are very distant from you, or had never met, could be much better than the people you meet in real life.

Using MackBook as a Wireless Access Point for PSP

MAC OSX LEOPARD 10.5.8
PSP System Update version 6.10+

1. Go to System Preferences > Sharing.
2. Disable Internet Sharing.
3. Go to System Preferences > Network.
4. Create New Location.
5. Click on the "+" around the bottom left corner.
6. After clicking on "+", it will pop up "Select the interface and enter a name for the new service."
7. Choose "Interface: PPPoE", "Ethernet: Ethernet". Type "LAN" for the Service Name.
8. You will then see "LAN" appears on the left. Select it and fill in the PPPo Service Name, Account Name and Password. Tick "Remember this password" and "Show PPPoE status in the menu bar."
9. Click on "Advanced..."
10. Click "TCP/IP"
11. Choose "Using PPP" for Configure IPv4.
12. Choose "Automatically" for Configure IPv6.
13. Click "PPP"
14. Uncheck all ticks except "Connect automatically when needed".
15. Click "OK" to save changes.
16. Click "Apply".
17. Make sure the LAN cord is plugged to your laptop and the router is switched on.
18. Click "Connect". The internet connection should work.

19. Click on the "+" around the bottom left corner.
20. After clicking on "+", it will pop up "Select the interface and enter a name for the new service."
21. Choose "Interface: AirPort", Type "AirPort" for the Service Name.
22. You will then see "AirPort" appears on the left. Select and click "Turn AirPort On". Tick "Show AirPort status in the menu bar."
23. Click on "Advanced..."
24. in "TCP/IP", the Configure IPv4 should be "Using DHCP". It IPv4 Address and Subnet Mask should have been created automatically.
25. Click "OK" to save changes.
26. In the Network Name, Select "Create Network".
27. Type "PSP" for the name. Choose Channel "Automatic (11)", Require Password. 40-bit WEP (more compatible). Password "1234567890" and verify.
28. Click "OK" to save changes.
29. Click "Apply".

30. Go to System Preferences > Sharing.
31. Highlight "Internet Sharing" (do not check), Choose "Share your connection from: LAN", "To computers using: On (tick) AirPort".
32. Click "AirPort Options..."
33. Type "PSP" for the name. Choose Channel "Automatic (11)", Require Password. 40-bit WEP (more compatible). Password "1234567890" and verify.
34. Click "OK" to save changes.
35. Check "Internet Sharing", then "Start".
36. You will see the AirPort icon with an up arrow on the desktop menu bar.

37. On your PSP's Network Settings, set "Ad Hoc Mode" channel to "Automatic".
38. In "Infrastructure Mode" select "New Connection", then "Scan".
39. You should be able to find SSID "PSP". Select to proceed.
40. WLAN Security Setting: "WEP", input password "1234567890".
41. Address Settings: Easy
42. Enter your connection name (can be anything).
43. Confirm Setting List.
44. Press the O button to save settings.
45. Test your connection.

Now you should be able to connect to the internet :)

episode title: the assassin. poor aoi-sensei, the lonely dude going to the path of darkness. young kumakiri gets killed. epic interaction between ryuzaki and hasebe in this episode.

mother and daughter get all happy-lovely when returning home.

there comes an uninvited guest.

ryuzaki first greets mio, then show his manners by taking off his shoes when entering the house.

i came for a cup of tea and i want to go into your room ryuzaki came to ask where's aoi-sense because he's not at his apartment. it's so inconvenient when you don't have a cell phone.

your boyfriend? yoshizumi appears and is shocked about the guy who appeared on tv couple of days before...

i don't care your boyfriend sees this – i'm giving you my suite's keycard.

pretty gal shouldn't have a scar... heal it for free :)

*BIG SPOILERS*

Last preview on this week's episode gave us a big room to squeal and fantasize about Ryuzaki and Hasebe. What will a mother do for her child? The answer was disappointing for people who hoped a shipping between these two characters in this story, lol.

No doubt Ryuzaki will appear with his catchphrase, "What will you do for me?".
Detective Hasebe then cooly takes off her jacket.

Then she grabs Ryuzaki's right hand towards her. Very suggestive, ne?

Ryuzaki's eyes looking so admirably at her. He does nothing, gets so carried away by her.

A surprise! Handcuffs! "You're under arrest." LOL.

Currently watching: Orthros no Inu ep.3 – Ryuzaki Shinji, a death row convict escaped from prison, wanders around for business and toying the cops. After break out he discovers a new hobby which is to corrupt a girl to trade off her mom in exchange of health. But oops, little asthmatic girl says no-no. Probably he would succeed in the next episode with the mom, lol.

Interesting observation in this episode:

Ryuzaki appears bare-handed.

And tada! A red paper gift bag appears out of the blue - apparently not from his jacket's inner pockets because of the size and you don't see any wrinkles on it. All you can say he's a wizard as he described himself to Mio, the little girl.

There's thread coming out from the jacket's sleeves. Well, what do you expect after it got soaked in the rain? Ah, Ryuzaki then calls the tailor at the hotel for a nice black dating suit. Clients pay, anyway.
